About The Blog
When I started this blog, I wanted it to be a place for family and friends to write stories about the lessons they wish they had learned earlier in life. I thought it would be a way to help people connect during the pandemic, and I hope it did that to some degree.

Recently, I realized that my approach had some flaws. Mainly, it let me evade discussing hard topics. Over the past few years, I have written quite a bit. For the sake of being a better writer and a better person, I started addressing the conversations that made me uncomfortable. Anyone can run from their past, and I should know because it's the only time I enjoy running. This time, I threw out the running shoes.
